Our mission is to provide effective and affordable healthcare to those who need it most.
We believe a few principles
1. U.S. Healthcare as we know it is a pretty horrible experience, we believe patients need not only more affordable care, but ultimately a new model of care, that is personal, continuous, and preventative.
2. AI presents itself as the biggest opportunity we have to create this new version of healthcare, abundant, free medical knowledge, anytime, anywhere. Ultimately growing into a continuous layer over your life, watching, and improving without you even having to ask.
3. AI is a catalyst into a world full of abundant healthcare for all, but it must be kept incredibly safe. Patients put massive trust in us and it is our mission to never let our doctors break that trust. In the short term, our goal is to create medical intelligence and systems that allow a single human doctor to effectively care for 10,000 patients, thanks to triaging and routing of an AI Doctor.
In the coming years, our goal is to create AI doctors and systems that can effectively care for millions of patients at once.
Lastly, we are bound to make mistakes along the way, but we are inspired by theodore roosevelt who said: The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat
